/waɪld/ - wild
living in a state of nature
Wild Life Yoga & Healing was created out of a desire to live a full and vibrant life. We believe that wherever we are, we have the ability to live in a state of nature. In this state, we can discover the essence of who we are and experience feeling fully alive.
We facilitate experiences through movement & meditation that connect our bodies to the breath, to the heart, to the mind. Experiences that allow curiosity & creativity to blossom, allow a sense of community and allow a feeling of being full & free.
We create products that serve & support your wildness, that make your heart & eyes sing and that respect this earth and the beings on it.
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
— Mary Oliver.
About Jayna
I didn’t properly root down my feet onto a yoga mat until I was 28 years old. What prompted me was a desire to touch my toes and what kept me there till this very day has been the magic of the yoga practice.
Yoga has transformed my way of being - from my way of thinking to what I am doing now. I fell in love with the healing qualities of yoga and the beautiful connection between mind, body and breath - so much so that I felt compelled to pause my 8 year marketing career to share my love of the practice and the teachings of yoga.
I truly believe that yoga is for everyone. My purpose is to make yoga accessible to all. In my classes I aim to create an inclusive environment - the focus is on the self and the journey we take on the mat, its not about the achieving the perfect pose. I teach with intentional slowness to bring consciousness back to the body and breath, to cultivate a sense of spaciousness & freedom and because life is crazy so why should yoga be? I am deeply grateful to my teachers who have shaped and formed the way that I teach.
My yoga practice is a balance of yin + yang. I love yang styles of yoga because I can move to my breath, explore creative fun sequences, be physically & mentally challenged and at the end of it all there is stillness. I love yin practices because they make my life a little better, they allow me to rest, slow down and to deeply connect with my being.
Nothing fills me with more joy than being connected to nature - I really do believe that wherever we are (even in the city) there is nature with us and hence Wild Life Yoga & Healing was created. I hope to bring out your wildness whether it be through a yoga class, workshop or a retreat.
Thank you for being here, please stay in touch xx

“Jayna has been my yoga teacher for the last two years during which time she has helped me immensely both physically and emotionally. Her ability to positively manipulate the energy in the space through her expert guidance and selfless demeanour is astounding. Jayna’s ability to cover all aspects of human nature is quite astonishing and is the embodiment of Wild Life Healing & Yoga, thus making her an incredible yoga instructor. She has the ability to be precise, technical and exacting on one hand, yet to be warm, nurturing and compassionate on the other – and traverses between the two seamlessly.”
